| Horizon House at Thirty—a classic article
from an early issue of HorizoNews—tells the story of our founding. Shortly
before the much lamented closing of this area's most famous attraction, Palisades Park, a
new landmark began life on the cliffs across from Manhattan. Horizon House was the very
first high rise of its type erected on the Palisades overlooking the Hudson from Bergen
County.
