Is there public transportation in the area?

Horizon House is easily accessible by car, bus and ferry. One mile south of the George Washington Bridge, Horizon makes it a breeze to get in and out of Manhattan.

How are the schools?

Fort Lee has four elementary schools for K–6, the Lewis F. Cole Middle School and Fort Lee High School, as well as private and parochial schools in town and nearby.

There are a variety of specialty shops on Main Street with high-end stores scheduled to come following the new construction near the bridge.

 

Dining & Food

Nearby you will find American, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mexican and Thai restaurants for eat-in, take-out or delivery. Two large supermarkets in Fort Lee, plus one specialty market that rivals any in Manhattan. An easy drive to Edgewater brings you to Trader Joe's or Whole Foods.

 

What about those famous NJ shopping malls?

Get ready for some retail therapy! Paramus is just a few miles west of Fort Lee and easy access to the highways means a quick trip to the Outlets is a breeze.
